~Mission Statement~ |
|
• |
When Jesus was on the earth, He
was on a mission from God. In Luke 4:18-19, He
revealed that mission to us. Jesus said, |
|
|
"The Spirit
of the Lord [is] upon Me, because He has anointed Me [the Anointed
One, the Messiah] to preach the Good News [the Gospel] to the
poor; He has sent Me to announce release to the captives, and
recovery of sight to the blind; to send forth as delivered those
who are oppressed--who are downtrodden, bruised, crushed and
broken down by calamity; to proclaim the accepted and acceptable
year of the Lord-- the day when salvation and the free favors of
God profusely abound." (Amp) |

Jesus spent
His entire earthly ministry carrying out this mission. Just before
He ascended to Heaven, He expressed His desire for His work to
continue through His followers. In Mark 16:15, Jesus
said, |
| |
"... Go into
all the world and preach and publish openly the Good News (the
Gospel) to every creature (of the whole human race)."

We at Divine
Touch have accepted Jesus' mandate to continue the mission that He
started. It is therefore our focus and our purpose to minister to
the people of the world just as Jesus did [John 14:12]. |
| |
To those who
are lost and dying without Christ, we are called to preach the
Good News of the Gospel. We boldly proclaim the message of hope
that is available to all who will accept it through the Lord Jesus
Christ. We present Christ in love and joy through the power of the
Holy Spirit. [For more on the message of hope, please visit our
salvation page.
To those who
are in Christ, we are called to teach the Word of God in order
that they may be established, rooted, and grounded in their
Christian walk and in their relationship with their Lord and
Savior, Jesus Christ. We proclaim the Good News that healing,
deliverance, prosperity, and abundant life are all available
through faith in Christ
Jesus.
