November is the month that produces an attitude of thanksgiving because of the soon coming Thanksgiving holiday. All through the year many take so much for granted, but find themselves gathering and giving thanks for their families, their freedoms, friends, jobs, health, etc. during this particular holiday. God would be well pleased if His people would take time to be thankful to Him on a consistent and frequent basis. Even when we pray we should be thankful for what He has done for us, which should be on a daily basis. Read the passages below to be reminded of just a few ways of how we ought to be thankful and how we can present our thankfulness to God.

October is a month that brings into view evidence of the fall season. The leaves that have started turning will fall from the trees to the ground. Lawns will not be as green and you won’t smell the odor of fresh cut grass or grills filling the air with the aroma of barbeque chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs and steaks. Things of nature will change fast during the next two months, but one thing is for sure – God will not and cannot. Aren’t you glad that you can depend on God remaining the same when people and things constantly change? |
